Open links in a new window in Chrome

One link is easy: right-click it. A list of links needs an extension. Here are both.

One link

Right-click the link and choose Open link in new window.

A whole list

  1. Open Multiple URL Opener and paste your links, one per line.
  2. Open the menu next to the Open button and choose New Window. To make it the default, set Default Open Mode in Settings.
  3. Press Open. A new window appears with one tab per link.

Close the window when you finish, and the whole batch is gone.

Questions

How do I open a link in a new window in Chrome?

For one link, right-click it and choose Open link in new window. For a list, choose the New Window open mode in Multiple URL Opener and press Open.

Why open a list in a new window?

It keeps a research batch away from the tabs you already have, and you can close the whole batch by closing the window.

Does New Window mode work with lazy loading and delay?

Yes. The same lazy loading and delay settings apply to every open mode.
