The extension
- Your URL lists, history, collections and settings are stored in your browser on your device.
- The extension does not send the links you open, the pages you visit, or the links it grabs to any server.
- The Link Grabber reads the links of the current page only when you start it.
- The extension stores a few counters on your device (when it was installed, how many times you opened a list, which features you used, how far you got in the install guide). They never include links or page contents.
When you remove the extension
Chrome opens a page on this website. The address of that page contains the extension version and rough ranges taken from those counters, for example "installed for up to 7 days" and "opened lists up to 5 times". It contains no links, no browsing data and no identifier. We use it to learn at which point people stop using the extension. The page shows you what it carried.
This website
We use Umami analytics to count page views and clicks (for example, which button was used to go to the Chrome Web Store). Umami does not use cookies and respects your browser's Do Not Track setting. The install guide reports which step you reached. The uninstall page records the ranges above and the reason you choose, if you choose one.
Outbound links to the Chrome Web Store carry UTM parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign) so we can see which page or extension sent a visit.
Feedback
The feedback page sends what you type to our Google Form. If you leave "Include technical details" ticked, it also sends your platform, browser, language, screen size, color theme, the extension version when the link carried it, and the page you came from. It shows you that text first. It never sends an IP address, an identifier, your links or page contents. Google processes form submissions under its own privacy policy.
